About me

Eric is the owner with over 25 years of experience in local large and mid-size Houston-area CPA firms doing a variety of work from tax preparation and representation before the IRS to business consultation, accounting and financial statement preparation. His expertise focuses on tax preparation and planning, business consultation, retirement planning, and accounting.

Eric graduated from University of Houston-Downtown in 1995 and has been a Houston resident all his life. While at U of H, he was part of the Student Auxiliary of the Texas Society of CPAs, and Editor of the Professional Accounting Society newsletter. As editor, he collected articles from students and teachers, wrote a few of his own, formatted the monthly 6-page newsletter, printed and mailed them out timely. Only a job for a motivated self-starter! As reward for his efforts, the Professional Accounting Society awarded him a full scholarship for Becker CPA Exam Review, saving him ~$1,100 for one of the best CPA review courses available!

Eric's current clientele are businesses in retail, wholesale, restaurants, trucking, automobile sales, wrecker services, financial services, HVAC manufacture and repair, not-for-profit and rental real estate as well as many individuals. Though through the years he has also worked with clients who were in the oil & gas, construction, software, medical practices, and law firms.

He's never one to turn away from the challenge of an IRS audit and has never lost on any of his many years of representation. (We'll knock on wood right now, so we don't jinx that!)

Eric used to be an art student and so during his spare time he likes creating, remodeling (sorry about the mess in the house!) and building. Using that same creative gene, he's always searching for ways to help his clients financially!
